 Current champion withdraws from Olympic gymnastics final


Simon Byles of the United States, who won four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympic Gymnastics Championships, has been ruled out of the Tokyo Olympic final.


Simon Piles of the United States won gold medals in the All Around, Vault and Floor categories at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Similarly, he won the gold medal for the United States in the team category.

Simon Piles, who has won the World Championship 5 times in the All Around category, 5 times in the Floor category, 3 times in the Balance Beam category and 2 times in the Vault category, is considered to be the world's greatest athlete.

With predictions that he would win a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, he abruptly withdrew from the team division finals held yesterday. Following this, Simon Piles has announced that he will withdraw from the All Around individual division finals to be held today.

He explained that he withdrew from the finals due to his mental health. He also said that the focus should be on mental and physical well-being. Fans who supported Simon Piles' end on social media have been congratulating him on his return soon.
